Exploring Texas Hill Country backroads, I came across these beautiful Herefords. They very politely waited until I was finished photographing and then resumed their peaceful grazing. Couldn't wait to paint them, and here's the result... a painting which has just found a new home!

Painting any subject is essentially immortalizing it the moment the painting is finalized. And especially in the case of animals, it's a happy moment for me knowing they will be in the memories of many for as long as my paintings last!
