One of the many beautiful Herefords at LBJ State Park near Fredericksburg, Tx.
"I give everything to my art, learn more every day, and constantly strive to capture on canvas my great love for nature. Here, I keep a journal of some of the smaller paintings I've sold online."
One of the many rewards in painting is "artist license" - we are auto-granted the profound right of personal interpretation. In this painting, I took the liberty of adding my geraniums to this lovely lady's basket.
This painting is now available as a print from FineArtAmerica - it can be ordered as a simple print, on canvas, framed or even as a greeting card!
"Stalking" was a large oil painting done by me & has been sold, but I've added it to my Fine Art America page ... and you can purchase a print of "Stalking" in many sizes, framed, on metal, even in greeting card format there. I have many prints of my watercolors there, plus a few of my photographs. Check it out! :)
.... a few of the many cows I've painted through the years.
Painting any subject is essentially immortalizing it the moment the painting is finalized. And especially in the case of animals, it's a happy moment for me knowing they will be in the memories of many for as long as my paintings last!
.... a little tribute to all cows, and especially to those who have unwittingly become my precious subjects. So, here's to you, guys!
