"I give everything to my art, learn more every day, and constantly strive to capture on canvas my great love for nature. Here, I keep a journal of some of the smaller paintings I've sold online."

Route 1341 Kerrville Longhorn .... Sold

... This is a turn-of-the-century barn - a very narrow, tall barn - I found on Route 1341 close to Kerrville, Tx, in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. I painted the dead oak tree as I saw it because it is very representative of the blight that has been killing so many of their oaks these past few years. The property where this barn is located has lost at least half of its very old oak trees. So sad .. and something you see happening throughout the Texas Hill Country. On a cheerier note, this circa 1916 barn is still standing, its old protectorate, the oak, has been allowed to stand by as it always has, albeit in less glory than bygone days, and there are these gorgeous Longhorns!
